Industrial Maintenance Tech Details :
Temp-to-Hire positionto $ / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 04 : 00pm)Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment.Installation and relocation of equipment and machinery as needed.Mechanical repairs such as gear boxes, chains, sprockets, etc.Maintain and repair all building systems including HVAC and plumbing.Provide skilled mechanical, electrical, and engineering support for all depts.The ability to read electrical schematics to troubleshoot a wide range of machinery and equipment.Perform office moves. Maintain vehicles and forklifts.Perform various ground-related duties as needed, including snow removal.Bend EMT conduit and pull wire.Sweat copper pipes.Work with VFD’s and PLC’sFabrication using Metal brake, Metal shear, Metal lathe and Milling machine.Perform housekeeping duties in the work area.Work overtime, nights and weekends as required.In rotation of on-call 24-hour support, as needed.Project managementIndustrial Maintenance Tech Qualifications :
MIG Welding knowledge and skills Mechanical and technical knowledge and skillsHVAC knowledge and skillsAbility to work well independently and with others.Strong critical thinking skills, including troubleshooting and root cause analysisWorking knowledge of electronics and plc-controlled processesExperience in a manufacturing environment;3+ years’ experience wantedApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
