Housekeeper

University Behavioral Center of Orlando, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.

The Housekeeper is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and enjoyable surroundings for patients, visitors and employees. The Housekeeper promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infections and odors. The Housekeeper may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. The Housekeeper must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving objects / materials and / or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials or body fluids.

Essential Job Duties

• Performing cleaning procedures in all assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Maintaining courteous and considerate relations with the medical staff, administrative staff, hospital patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
• Completing special projects throughout the hospital as assigned.
• Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of equipment care and storage areas.
