We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This role works closely with project managers, design teams, and field staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate scope with design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure alignment with project objectives
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for mechanical and electrical systems to confirm compliance with project requirements
Manage RFIs, change orders, and documentation through Procore and other project management tools
Support scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking activities for assigned work packages
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design conflicts, and verify quality of installations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects
Strong understanding of building systems, construction processes, and MEP coordination practices
Proficiency in Primavera and Procore or similar project management software
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
