LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Florence, South Carolina, 29506!

Pay Information

$400 to $550 per hour

About The Position

Gastroenterology Locums Physician, South Carolina - Inpatient Only

Inpatient-only GI assignment in South Carolina near Florence; no ERCP or clinic required, with block scheduling still available.

Highlights

  • Block scheduling available; pick 1 to 2 weeks at a time
  • No ERCP or moderate sedation required
  • APP support Monday to Friday
  • Dates open through 2026

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient-only coverage at a regional hospital
  • No outpatient clinic responsibilities
  • EPIC EMR
  • Weekday APP support; no APPs on weekends

    • Schedule

  • 24-hour call for weeklong blocks
  • Onsite coverage daily; round, consult, and scope 8 to 10 hours
  • Weekend consults lighter in volume; procedures shift to OR if needed

    • Cases and Procedures

  • ~15 to 20 new consults per day
  • Emergent GI procedures and inpatient scopes only
  • No ERCP required

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Active South Carolina license or open to licensing
  • BLS and DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage fully covered
