Experience in Trauma, Stroke, and ICU preferred.
Previous charge experience is a plus.
Description :
Please ensure travelers are aware of potential hurricane impacts during the contract period.
The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms may occur outside this window.
Upon accepting an assignment, travelers may be assigned to an "Emergency Team."
The expectation is to stay at the facility until after the storm passes or be part of the relief team.
Specific pay details will be communicated for each storm, as impacts can vary.
Acceptance of the travel contract implies acknowledgment of these conditions.
Travelers should consider their comfort level with these expectations before applying during the hurricane window.
The staffing ratio is 1 : 14.
There will be 8 weekend shifts per contract.
Candidates should be prepared for an interdisciplinary support environment.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Experience in areas such as acute care and rehabilitation for severe injuries is essential.
Candidates should have skills in assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.
Safety and injury prevention measures are also a core part of the role.
References are not required for submission but will be necessary for clearance to start the contract.
