Job description

Premier Physician Services is seeking a part-time Mammography Radiologist (3 shifts per week onsite) for an opportunity in Denville, New Jersey.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Radiologist for locums assignment starting May 1, expedited credentialing

  • St. Michaels & St. Mary s, St. Clares Medical Center, NJ
  • 3 days / week onsite
  • No Weekends or Overnights
  • M-F 7a-4p or 8a-5p
  • 4-5 Procedures / day + Mamo / Ultrasound Reads
  • 2-3 Rads on shift
  • Flexible weekdays

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform Breast Biopsies : Conduct image-guided breast biopsy procedures, including Ultrasound guided Biopsies and stereotactic.,
  • Patient Consultation : Provide thorough consultations with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Procedure Planning : Collaborate with referring physicians to plan and execute interventional procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Post-Procedure Care : Monitor patients post-procedure, manage any complications, and provide follow-up care as needed.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all procedures and patient interactions.
  • Quality Assurance- : Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and procedural outcomes.

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification in Radiology and fellowship trained Mammographer and MQSA Certified.
  • Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey
  • Proficiency in performing breast biopsy procedures.
  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
