Travel CT Tech - $2,488 per week in Weslaco, TX

Job Title : Technologist Profession : Healthcare Specialty : Computed Tomography (CT) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year as a registered radiology technologist, CT tech experience required. License : Active state license with Fluoroscopy required. Certifications : Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program is mandatory. AART required. Current State / District license required. Medical Board certification required. Must-Have : Ability to operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Description : Must live 100 miles away. Looking for a multi-modality tech that can perform both CT and X-ray. Shift time is 7 PM to 7 AM, with a seven on / seven off rotation. Responsible for analyzing body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and positioning. Review physicians' orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs. Aim to reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, handling supplies, managing contrast reactions, and responding to codes. Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
