Staff will triage patients in dedicated triage rooms and provide medical screenings. Staff will circulate and recover from C-sections in the operating room suite and private rooms. Daily patient ratios will range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 3. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The patient population includes neonates and adults. The unit has a nursing census averaging five patients daily with 14 rooms and 28 beds. Candidates must have experience floating within a hospital setting. References may be required.
