This strategic and technical role is pivotal in driving the design, governance, and execution of IAM capabilities across various environments, with a strong emphasis on maturing identity lifecycle management, enforcing least privilege, and enhancing secure access governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and will play a key role in defining and owning the company's IAM vision, roadmap, and architecture.
Applicants for the VP of IAM position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in IAM, information security, or IT risk roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. The role requires a leader who can champion secure and scalable IAM practices, partner with engineering and compliance teams, and maintain IAM controls to meet industry standards. Strong communication, influencing, and documentation skills are a must, as is the ability to evangelize IAM to both technical and business audiences. Experience with scripting, modern identity protocols, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certs are preferred.
