Job Title : Registered Nurse – Neurology

Location : Gainesville, FL

Shift : 12-Hour Days or Nights (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM / 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) | Rotating Weekends

Hours per Week : 36

Employment Type : Permanent

Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive assessments upon patient admission and during each scheduled shift.
  • Monitor and document any changes in patient condition, promptly reporting to the medical team.
  • Administer prescribed medications and evaluate patient responses.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, care coordinators, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical documentation.
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards.
  • Support patient advocacy, quality improvement, and positive health outcomes.

    • Qualifications : Required :

  • Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) within 30 days of start date.

    • Preferred :

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience working in Neurology or other high-acuity units.

    • Compensation :

  • Hourly Rate : $30.69 – $43.20 (based on experience).
  • Sign-On Bonus : Up to $25,000 (case-by-case basis).
  • Relocation Assistance : Available.
