Schedule

12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM with weekday and weekend on-call rotation. One holiday on-call as needed.

Job Description

The operating room team is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Perform intraoperative nursing tasks and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team.
• Assist with patient positioning and safety during surgical procedures.
• Provide care and support during the recovery process.

# of cases per day Average 28 cases / day w / 5 add-on's (Including SDS cases)

Certs / Tech certified RN's : BLS, ACLS, & Pals are Required

OR Tech's : BLS is Required. CST is only preferred

Experience Requirement : 2-3 Years of experience in the specialty is required, as well as 2-3 previous travel assignments. Ortho / Neuro experience is preferred.

Charge Nurse Yes 7a - 7p. They will take circulate cases if needed

OR techs Yes

Weekend Requirement - RN's One weekend day on-call 7a-7p per month

Weekend Requirement - CST's One weekend day on-call 7a-7p per month

Call Requirement - RN's One weeknight on-call 7p-7a

Call Requirement - CST's One weeknight on-call 7p-7a
