Desktop Support Training Program

Year Up United is an immersive job training program designed for young adults, offering a combination of in-class skill development, internship opportunities, and personalized coaching. As a participant, you will also receive a weekly educational stipend.

This program merges technical and professional training with hands-on internship experience through our esteemed talent placement partner, YUPRO Placement. Possible internship opportunities include positions at notable organizations such as Amazon, Dell Technologies, Merck, and The University of Texas System, along with many other prominent employers.

Are you eligible?

You can apply for Year Up United if you :

• Are a high school graduate or GED recipient
• Are eligible to work in the U.S.
• Can commit to being available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program
• Are highly motivated to learn both technical and professional skills
• Do not have a Bachelor’s degree
• May need to answer additional screening questions during your application

What will you gain?

You will develop professional business and communication skills, hone your interviewing and networking abilities, and work on resume building with ongoing support to help you kick-start your career. During the internship phase, Year Up United students will earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

In-depth classes include :

Seize the opportunity to gain the skills necessary for a successful career launch. Approximately 75% of Year Up United graduates secure employment or enroll in further education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
