Facility in Barre, VT seeking Internal Medicine Locums coverage

Rates : $170 / hr

Coverage Dates : As soon as credentialed

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (preferred), or Monday-Thursday / Tuesday-Friday

Job Description : Facility in Barre, VT is seeking 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 1 MD with a background in Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine. While geriatric experience is preferred, it is not required. The position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct admissions and discharges

Perform acute evaluations and 30-day evaluations

Manage a patient load of 8-12 patients per day

Collaborate with other APPs and MDs in the facility

Schedule :

Monday-Friday : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (preferred)

Alternative schedules : Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Requirements :

Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are not required

Will accept experience over fellowship in Geriatrics

Support and Collaboration :

Work with other APPs and MDs

Additional support staff available

The locum provider will not be responsible for mid-levels, though APPs may need to consult with them

Facility Information :

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System : Point Click Care and EPIC

No surgical staff or procedures required

On-Call Requirements :

APPs : No on-call duties

MD : On-call duties negotiable
