will perform diagnostic sonograms across the spectrum of Abdominal,
OB / Gyn, Vascular, MSK and Pediatric imaging according to
established standards with certification in four specialties. As a
Sonographer, understands and integrates into the delivery of
patient care in regards to their growth and development process.
The position actively supports the Hospital’s and Department’s
Continuous Quality Improvement and customer service goals,
individually and as an effective team member. Exemplifies the Rush
mission, vision and ICARE values and acts in accordance with Rush
policies and procedures. Graduate from an accredited Cardiac
Sonography Program.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS),
either Abdominal (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB / GYN), Vascular
(RVT), Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK) or Pediatrics (PS)
equipment to perform Diagnostic Sonograms on a portable basis.
