Job descriptionGeneral Manager Oversees daily operations of a new restaurant in Dayton, OH. You will ensure a smooth function and optimal customer satisfaction. Their responsibilities include managing team members, scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager will also handle customer complaints, implement marketing strategies to attract more guests, and collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to enhance efficiency and profitability. A successful candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for the restaurant industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Provides supervision to others through coaching, motivation, direction, and review of performance Holding team members accountable Maintains LNS standards and codes of conduct Oversees and maintains a high level of culture and hospitality throughout their location Communicates as needed with Home Office Team via text and / or email or Sling to review shop needs, points of interest, guest and employee feedback, or any other pertinent information Performs or coordinates regular cleaning and maintenance of the location and all equipment Participates in scheduled Accountability Calls Ability to inspect cooking and refrigeration equipment for potential problems, and perform regular preventative maintenance Effectively and efficiently orders all supplies, food, and alcohol required to serve customers and operate the location, as well as maintenance of a reasonable inventory on hand, as per Late Night Slice guidelines to achieve established COGs per your location scorecard Utilizes and regularly updates Declining Budget Ensures proper cash handling using official Late Night Slice managerial processes and SOPs Ensure all deposits are taken to the bank daily Maintains location workflow with consistent initiative to improve efficiency when possible Ensures and maintains all Late Night Slice promotional materials are visible and up-to-date, including point-of-sale displays, banners, window and wall fixtures, employee recipe and informational postings, and menu addendums Leads team members in all manners related to company operations at your location Creates and maintains employee schedules, posting each Thursday by 5pm Ensures placement of orders and completes inventory Competencies : Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Communication – Ability to communicate with customers, employees, management, and vendors. Conveys expectations to all parties and provides concise and timely reporting Time Management – Uses their time effectively and efficiently. Values time. Concentrate their efforts on the more important priorities Work Quality – Directly responsible for quality control. Consistently achieves desired outcomes with minimum avoidable errors and problems. Safety – Organizes and trains others in proper safety standards. Ensures practices are followed daily. Teamwork – Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals. Customer Service – The ability to satisfy the expectations and requirements of guests. Displays courtesy and sensitivity and responds promptly to service requests. Identifies guests' needs and explains services clearly.
