Job description

A well-established healthcare organization in Andover, MA is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join its growing team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position paying $24 / hour, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. The role is 100% in-office in Boston. The company, which operates a national pharmacy service for injured individuals, is expanding its newly formed customer service division and offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and facilities using pharmacy services
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Resolve patient concerns in real-time by coordinating across internal teams
  • Educate patients on their medication regimen and delivery process
  • Track and follow up on delivery statuses to prevent medication access disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
  • Document all interactions and resolutions thoroughly
  • Contribute to patient satisfaction initiatives and service improvement efforts

Candidate Qualifications :

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, softphones, and call center tools
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy standards
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Passion for helping others and contributing to patient care outcomes
