USDA Food Safety Manager

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, USDA Food Safety. Key Responsibilities Provide organizational leadership and regulatory affairs support for USDA-regulated manufacturing sites Lead training for factories and cross-functional teams on regulatory issues Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and support various USDA programs Required Qualifications Master of Science degree preferred, focused on Food Safety or Food Microbiology 7+ years of experience in food safety and / or regulatory affairs Significant understanding of quality systems / processes (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) Ability to lead teams and manage conflict effectively Willingness to travel up to 15% a year
