Shape the customer experience from first call to final delivery
Picture your day : you open your queue, clear overnight customer inquiries, and jump into action—tracking shipments, checking inventory counts, scheduling loads, and making sure every order flows accurately through the warehouse. You greet visitors with a smile, keep the phones moving, and close the loop on issues before they become problems. When a question lands, you are the hub connecting customers, the warehouse team, and the office to keep orders moving and invoices clean.
What you’ll own
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns related to work orders, shipments, and inventory counts—promptly and professionally.
- Serve as the liaison between customer and warehouse for account administration and between customer and office for invoicing and credit updates.
- Verify computer-generated invoices to ensure accounts are billed correctly.
- Oversee order paperwork, maintain organized files, answer and route calls, greet visitors, and operate office equipment and computers to complete daily tasks.
- Schedule loads and coordinate timing with operations as required.
- Maintain up-to-date reports to ensure all loads are emptied and closed on time.
- Investigate and resolve refused product and OS&D (over, short, and damaged) orders.
What you bring
High school diploma or GED.0–2 years of related work experience.Clear, professional communication skills.Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable with desktop computers.Physical and travel expectations
Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent interruptions.Regularly getting up and down from chairs; occasional reaching and bending.Manual dexterity for typical office work; frequent talking, hearing, and seeing to complete tasks.Business travel by automobile and airplane may be required.Occasional visits to facilities operating at or below freezing temperatures.Ability to carry travel-related items and occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects up to 20 lbs.Use of various electronic tools as part of daily work.Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating professionalism and balance under pressure.Perform activities that include reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, and public speaking; respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management.Compensation
This role is hourly with an estimated range of $16.25–$20.25 per hour. Actual pay may vary by work location.
