Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.Provide anesthesia to patients of all ages and A.S.A. classes, including geriatrics and pediatrics.Offer airway management services hospital-wide as needed.Lead in the professional practice setting and support the professional development of peers and colleagues.Delegate tasks to assistive personnel respectfully and professionally.Collaborate with the Anesthesia / Surgeon / Perioperative team for patient problem identification and selection of interventions.Coordinate perioperative care with healthcare team members.Promote a healthy work environment through professional communication and problem resolution.Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.In collaboration with the Anesthesiologist, determine the appropriate anesthetic plan and manage all aspects of anesthesia care.Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care.Provide airway management and intubations for various situations.Exceed patient and customer expectations by improving service and care.Uphold team standards and adhere to health policies and procedures.Use and document the nursing process for individualized, age-specific patient care.Incorporate safe and evidence-based practices into daily care.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation.Direct and delegate nursing care based on patient acuity and staff competency.Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Engage in professional development and continuous learning.Foster a workplace environment that encourages respectful interactions and addresses issues.Maintain knowledge and skills in relevant technology.Provide education for staff, colleagues, patients, and families.Precept new staff and students when requested.Demonstrate current clinical knowledge in the specialty area.Integrate research findings into practice.Represent the health system by promoting care, concern, and respect to all customers.Maintain awareness of actions impacting the image of nursing.Support financial equity by using resources cost-effectively.Work harmoniously in collaboration with Anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers.Perform duties that may require frequent walking, bending, and lifting in variable working conditions.Understand the financial implications of actions based on factors related to safety and effectiveness.Encourage teamwork, initiative, and a willingness to learn.Accept and respect diversity without judgment.Demonstrate customer service values consistently.Client Details
