  • Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain by start)
  • Clean malpractice / license history
  • Willingness to travel to other ambulatory sites as necessary

  • Job Description :

  • Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.
  • Provide anesthesia to patients of all ages and A.S.A. classes, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
  • Offer airway management services hospital-wide as needed.
  • Lead in the professional practice setting and support the professional development of peers and colleagues.
  • Delegate tasks to assistive personnel respectfully and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Anesthesia / Surgeon / Perioperative team for patient problem identification and selection of interventions.
  • Coordinate perioperative care with healthcare team members.
  • Promote a healthy work environment through professional communication and problem resolution.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.
  • In collaboration with the Anesthesiologist, determine the appropriate anesthetic plan and manage all aspects of anesthesia care.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care.
  • Provide airway management and intubations for various situations.
  • Exceed patient and customer expectations by improving service and care.
  • Uphold team standards and adhere to health policies and procedures.
  • Use and document the nursing process for individualized, age-specific patient care.
  • Incorporate safe and evidence-based practices into daily care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation.
  • Direct and delegate nursing care based on patient acuity and staff competency.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
