Miami Cath Lab RN Job Details

Location : Miami, FL 33133 (South Florida healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (13-bed unit)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days / week, or until all cases are completed)

On-Call : Required after hours, weekends, and major holidays (including every other weekend)

Estimated Weekly Hours : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250

Dress Code : Scrubs provided by the healthcare facility

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN

Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac procedures : LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and Electrophysiology (EP)

Experience with Phillips and GE Cath Lab equipment preferred

Proficiency with Meditech and Mac Lab documentation systems is a plus

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and work independently

Previous travel nursing experience highly valued

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures

Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs)

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech and Mac Lab systems

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required

Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols

Demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, and the ability to function independently in a busy cardiac unit
