Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Houston, TX

Contract Details :

Shift : Variable 4x10s (7 : 00–5 : 30 or 8 : 00–6 : 00)

Hours : 40 hrs / week guaranteed

Schedule : Rotating 7-day call coverage ; call required (≈1–2 days / month)

Orientation : 8 hours

EMR : Epic

Requirements :

License : Active TX RN or Compact

Experience : 2+ years ; IR / radiology nursing preferred — ICU or ER accepted if no IR

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Skills : Moderate sedation, interventional procedures, CT / fluoro environment, PICC line care / placement support, anesthesia-care coordination

Traits : Flexible, able to handle high-acuity and variable daily volume

Unit Snapshot :

Setting : Main Radiology (IR) in acute care; workflow similar to Cath Lab

Mix of scheduled outpatients with add-on inpatients as needed
