Job Requirements

Education Requirements : Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications Requirements : Active BLS certification; Tennessee or other state RN license; ACLS certification (preferred)
Experience Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience; proven ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment; experience with surgical procedures and protocols
Other Requirements : Ability to work 4x10 hour days; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle on-call shifts occasionally; flexibility to adapt to schedule changes

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.

Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms, assist during procedures, and maintain sterile environments.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and equipment usage.

Execute on-call duties as required, responding promptly to emergencies and urgent needs in the OR.

Monitor patient vitals and status throughout surgical procedures, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
