Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

As a Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you are responsible for aligning human resources strategy and service with business objectives in designated business areas (BAs) and / or functional organizations. In this job, you will serve as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues. As a successful HRBP acts as a strategic partner and operations consultant to the business while facilitating resolutions and responding to emergencies when necessary. You will assess and anticipate HR-related requirements. Balancing the needs of the business with those of the enterprise, HRBPs communicate proactively with internal HR partners (COEs, Shared Services, other HRBPs) and business leaders to develop integrated solutions. The position develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect the organization's business objectives. The HRBP maintains an effective level of literacy about organizational and business strategy, financial position, culture, and competition.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 10 or more years of work experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, leadership coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations issues
  • Can operate in ambiguity with limited guidance and support.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic people strategy.
  • Workforce planning and strategic human capital planning experience.

Qualifications We Prefer :

  • Background in HR, management consulting, communications, or other support function
  • Masters of Business Administration, HR, or Organizational Leadership
  • PHR / SPHR certification or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification
  • Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and / or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
  • Experience with Workday HR management systems
  • Labor Union avoidance support to leaders and employees
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Aviation industry
  • This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE : This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
