Full Time / Salary / Exempt

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm some nights / weekends

JOB SUMMARY

The Social Media Manager / Digital Content Creator leads SNUs online brand presence and ensures consistency with the SNU Brand Guide and Creative standards. This role manages social media strategy content creation and audience engagement across Facebook Instagram TikTok and LinkedIn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions :

• Collaborate with campus creatives and marketing teams to create visually excellent social media content
• Create digital content for the university social media platforms designed to attract prospective students and engage alumni and donors.
• Analyze social media engagement data and identify trends to inform future strategy.
• Monitor audience interactions and respond to comments and messages to maintain strong community engagement.
• Plan and execute digital content that builds community and support the universitys mission and brand.
• Develop and manage a scheduling calendar to coordinate consistent mission-driven content.
• Monitor key performance indicators of social media marketing campaigns for monthly reporting.
• Monitor competitor activity and social media trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Hire train and oversee social media student interns.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships
• Work independently while demonstrating initiative and accountability.
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear timely communication
• Contribute to a positive collaborative workplace.
• Additional duties as assigned

Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
