Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with pulmonary and complex medical conditions.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans.

Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments.

Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and discharge plans.

Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards.

Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.

Manage a 7 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio while maintaining quality care standards.

Qualifications

Required :

Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred ).

Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider).

Minimum 1 year of RN experience acute care not required. Acceptable experience includes LTAC, skilled nursing, outpatient rehab, home health, or corrections.

Must live within a commutable distance (within 60 minutes) of the facility.

Must complete an in-person interview , including shadowing and facility tour, before offer consideration.

Preferred :

NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Experience in pulmonary, respiratory, or medical-surgical nursing.

Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range : $30.69 to $43.20 / hr (based on experience)

2 years : $30.69 / hr

5 years : $33.71 / hr

17+ years : $43.20 / hr

Shift Differentials : $4.25 / hr (Nights) | $3 / hr (Weekends)

Sign-On Bonus : $25,000 (Nights) | $15,000 (Days)

Relocation Assistance : $2,500 to $5,000 (for candidates relocating 100+ miles)
