Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Supply Chain Operations Specialist to manage system access, oversee equipment and asset management, support procurement processes, and partner with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to drive operational excellence. This role is critical in ensuring seamless system functionality, effective 3PL performance management, and continuous process improvement across the distribution center (DC) network

Key Responsibilities :

System Access & Compliance Management :

  • Oversee system access management for 3PL users on Company systems, handling Company Connect requests, password resets, and account deletions.
  • Track and audit system access to ensure security compliance and operational integrity.

3PL Management & Operational Excellence :

  • Manage 3PL performance, spend, and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance in alignment with Company standards.
  • Drive 3PL operational excellence, focusing on execution, capacity management, volume fluctuations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with 3PLs during new product launches to ensure flawless execution and timely ramp-up.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation :

  • Identify areas for process optimization, innovation, and cost reduction across supply chain and distribution operations.
  • Investigate operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop effective, scalable solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging supply chain trends and technologies to recommend best in-class improvements.
  • Operational Support & Project Participation :

  • Monitor IT and Operations work orders and requests, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining operational continuity.
  • Provide tactical support for capital and cross-functional projects, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as the first line of support for general inquiries from DC teams and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Procurement, Financial, and Asset Management :

  • Coordinate equipment needs, manage asset life cycles, and ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Create, track, and maintain purchase orders and requisitions for various vendors, ensuring procurement policy compliance.
  • Validate and approve invoices, collaborating with Finance and Procurement to ensure timely payments.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation :

  • Lead initiatives to enhance administrative functions, streamline processes, and drive automation that improves efficiency and reduces manual workload across the DC network.
  • Collaborate with 3PLs and internal teams on strategies to improve speed, capacity, and cost savings through system and process enhancements. Qualifications :
  • Proven experience in supply chain operations, 3PL management, or logistics coordination.

    Strong knowledge of procurement processes, equipment management, and system access controls.

    Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

    Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.

    Experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, and supply chain technologies is preferred
