A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. The Medical Tech provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. While in this position we ask that you feel comfortable consistently functioning in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills. Qualifications : In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following : To qualify for a Medical Technician position : + 1 year related work experience preferred + Associates Degree required + Bachelors Degree preferred + MLS (or MT) ASCP or categorical / specialty certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire Schedule : 7on 7off and every other weekend / Wed thru Tues 2030-0700 Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 10lbs frequently) Your Connected Community : At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness.
