Jail Officer

The Jones County Jail Administrator is now accepting applications for the position of jail officer.

• This is a full-time position that includes the county benefits package.

Starting pay is $21.85 hour with continual step raises.

Applications may be picked up at the Jones County Sheriff’s Office (basement of courthouse) OR downloaded off the Jones County Iowa website – www.jonescountyiowa.gov.  Click Resources in the upper right hand corner of the opening page - select Employment on the drop down menu and click on the icon for the Employment Application . Submit completed application, resume and cover letter via ONE of the following three methods :

Deliver : In-person to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office
