As the Senior Product and Applications Engineer , you will have the opportunity to utilize both your technical and commercial skills, focusing on a portfolio of Edwards products. The role involves :

Acting as a conduit for product and application-related activities with the global product management group.

Supporting North American Sales Channels with product selection, configuration, technical and application support.

Providing pre-sales and technical product support through technical engagements with customers.

This role will require managing high level product and applications projects for our team as well as strategic customer projects, product selection and development projects. In this position, you will support business development from a product and applications perspective.

Main Responsibilities :

Education & Experience :

A 4-year engineering or physical sciences degree or higher is preferred. Bachelor or Master of Science or equivalent work experience in multiple science disciplines is a plus.

Min 6+ years in related or technical field. More is a plus.

Skills :

Customer Focused - Ability to identify and translate the customer stated and unstated challenges and collaborate with internal partners to identify and implement solutions.

Analytical Thinking - Ability to analyze and dissect a complex problem with intertwined technical and commercial challenges.

Effective Communication - The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to convey highly technical issues in a concise and effective manner is critical for this role.

Work Environment - Experience working in customers under high pressure situations is important.

Time Management Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks based the evolving needs of the business.

Impact and Influence - Ability to identify and influence decision makers within Edwards' and customers' organization. Effectively justify resource required to solve technical challenges.

Business Awareness - Has a clear grasp of the commercial drivers behind the customers' and Edwards' technical initiatives and how they fit within a business strategy.
