  • Web / Database Developer Location : 590 Madison Avenue, 25th Floor, New York, NY 10022 Position Type : Contract with Right to Hire Company Overview : S3 Partners is a global, independent financial analytics, technology, and services firm headquartered in NYC since 2003.
  • Our flagship platform, S3 BLACKLIGHT, consolidates financing and capital markets data across every market, product, function, and counterparty.
  • We also offer Bloomberg and Reuters integrated applications.

Role Summary :

  • We are seeking a skilled Web / Database Developer to join our technology team.
  • This role involves the full systems development life cycle—designing, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting financial technology solutions for clients in the prime brokerage domain.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web and database solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software within scope and deadlines.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and web user interfaces.
  • Create and maintain complex SQL Server procedures and queries.

    • Apply design patterns to build scalable, maintainable systems.

  • Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Web Development : HTML5, Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript (3+ years) Backend Development : C#, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful API (5+ years) Database : SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures (5+ years) Design Patterns : 2+ years Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with financial applications, Order Entry Systems, Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending, and Counterparty Risk.
  • Knowledge of Document Management solutions (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Agile development experience.
