Unit : Intermediate Care (IMC) – Cardiac Stepdown Service Line

Start Date : November 30, 2025

End Date : February 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 36

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,990 - $2,130 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state

At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Intermediate Care (IMC), or acute care nursing

BLS certification (AHA required)

Strong clinical assessment and cardiac monitoring skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a clinical setting

Monitor, assess, and document cardiac patient status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medical procedures, and recovery processes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
