Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues according to site protocols. Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Support Allied Universal and client-specific policies, procedures, and standards at all times while on duty. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Hospital role requires proof of vaccination. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols Full-Time in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible throughout the location, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals. At Allied Universal, we value teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first. This position requires a valid driver's license to meet driving responsibilities.
