Job descriptionMay have responsibility for staff; has authority to hire, fire and discipline; oversees the process for collecting, reporting and maintaining information necessary to ensure appropriate insurance coverage; coordinates all activities necessary for compliance with the Safe Medical Device Act; coordinates the investigation associated with an allegation of an EMTALA violation; participates in audits of departments / processes for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
