Electrophysiology Tech (Travel Assignment)

Location : Atlanta, GA

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Day, 40 hours per week (between 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, every other weekend required

On-Call : None

Floating : Within facility / scope of practice as needed

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrophysiology Tech to join a dynamic cardiovascular team in Atlanta. This position involves assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting physicians and nurses in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with electrophysiology procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment within the EP lab.
  • Monitor patient status and provide support during procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Float within the facility as needed, within scope of practice.
  • Participate in orientation and maintain compliance standards.

    • Requirements

    Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology or related cardiovascular experience.
  • Unit accepts first-time travelers.

    • Certifications

  • ACLS and BLS required.
  • CCI RCES
  • or CCI RCIS
  • preferred.

    • Additional Requirements

  • Must be fully compliant prior to start; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
  • Locals accepted at the same rate.
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) : Maximum of 7 days.
  • Holiday Coverage :

    • If one major holiday falls within assignment, traveler must work it.

  • If two major holidays fall within assignment, traveler must work both.
  • If three major holidays fall within assignment, traveler must work two.
  • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day.
