Senior Associate - Business Development (Hybrid)

This is an exciting time for Capital One Card Partnerships, as we are looking to expand our business aggressively in the partner credit card segment, not only through organic growth in existing programs, but also through acquisitions of new card partners. In this role, you will help lead contract management to help drive Capital One's new partner acquisition strategy, through creation and implementation of well-managed practices, and lead the translation of that strategy into successful contracting, approval, and onboarding of future partners. You will work with a cross functional team to :

• Manage the timeline and process for a program agreement with internal and external teams for each round of a competitive RFP
• Work across the organization to contract and onboard future partners, including :
• Working with internal and external counsel to develop contracts
• Assist with negotiating key elements of program agreements
• Manage the internal process for contract reviews
• Manage the internal due diligence & sign off process
• Assist with transitioning newly-won business from the business-development team to our vertical business units
• Identify and evaluate potential partner companies and brands

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
