Project Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support our High Voltage Distribution (HVD) Lines Engineering team and consulted design activities. Due to a substantial increase in the HVD Lines Reliability budget, project volume has grown significantly, creating the need for a skilled engineer to help manage and execute these initiatives.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that design and engineering projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering design plans for HVD Lines Reliability projects
• Review, verify, and approve invoices associated with contracted design services
• Track, analyze, and report project performance metrics, including schedule, budget, and quality KPIs
• Manage and process project change orders, ensuring proper documentation and required approvals
• Oversee permitting activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Provide technical support by responding to field questions and facilitating timely issue resolution
• Coordinate with Document Control to ensure AFC (Approved for Construction) documentation is properly maintained and distributed
