Medical-Surgical Cardiac ICU – RN\nLocation : [City, State] | Beds : 16 | Nurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 (occasionally 1 : 1)\nShift : 0630–1900 / 1830–0700 | Weekends : Every other | Orientation : 2 shifts\n\nRequirements : \n\nCertifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n\nExperience : Critical care nursing, able to titrate drips (sedation, pressors, heparin, insulin), read tele strips, and manage advanced devices (ICP, balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, lumbar drains)\n\nSkills : Critical thinking, flexible, culturally competent, able to float to PCU or other areas if needed\n\nPolicies : Radius Rule 50 miles; no prior CommonSpirit employment; artificial nails prohibited; RTO ≤7 days per 13-week contract\n\nUnit Highlights : Fast-paced, diverse patient population (young adults to geriatrics) including STEMI, sepsis, stroke, neurosurgery, respiratory / renal failure. Focus on bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and eICU monitoring.
