Position Overview : We're hiring for a Help Desk Specialist Level 1 to work at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Ga. In this position you'll become part of technically diverse team to include but not limited to other Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together this team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center which is responsible for training Law Enforcement Professionals from over 90 different agencies.

Position Responsibilities :

• Make data easily accessible to those who need it
• Pay attention to customers' descriptions of computer problems
• Ask questions to properly diagnose the problem
• Walk customers through the recommended problem-solving steps
• Set up or repair computer equipment and related devices
• Train users to work with new computer hardware or software
• Document changes, revisions and problems
• Provide other team members and managers information
