Position Overview :
The Home Health Manager will lead in-home healthcare services for vulnerable seniors, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care that empowers elderly participants to age safely at home. Oversees care delivery across private residences, nursing facilities, and board and care settings while leading, mentoring, and optimizing a dedicated clinical team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct home care department operations, ensuring policy adherence and workflow efficiency.
- Hire, train, and mentor home health staff.
- Supervise nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation aligned with care plans.
- Monitor care quality in homes, nursing homes, and board and care facilities.
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to optimize participant care.
- Evaluate and improve home health service effectiveness.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute)Licensure : Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licenseExperience : Minimum 2 years in home health (frail / elderly populations preferred)Technical Skills : Clinical oversight in home health, nursing homes, and board and care settings, Care plan documentation and compliance, Quality assurance and workflow managementSoft Skills : Leadership, team training, and coaching, Interdisciplinary collaboration, Complex clinical decision-making for elderly patientsBenefits
