Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide Locum coverage for a facility in Upstate NY in its hospital-based practice starting January. The role offers a stable and collaborative environment with a 1 : 3 CRNA supervision ratio and coverage limited to one campus no travel required. This position provides a broad case mix without cardiac, neuro, or thoracic cases.

Schedule & Start Date

Start Date : January (credentialing takes 2 3 months with active NY license)

Schedule : Full-time, hospital-based

CRNA Supervision : 1 physician to 3 CRNAs

Job Details & Responsibilities

Case Mix Includes : General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Ortho, Bariatric Surgery, UroGyn

Excluded Cases : No cardiac, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases

Obstetrics : 100 deliveries / month; low epidural rate; C-section rate 15%

Spinal and Epidural Skills : Required

Patient Population : Primarily adults with low pediatric volume

ORs : 7 operating rooms

EMR : Epic

Required Skills & Qualifications

Certifications :

NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

License : Active New York State RN and CRNA licenses required

Other Requirements :

Must not live within 50 miles of the facility
