Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Azure Security Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure services and security practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Azure DevOps, and Security, and will play a key role in ensuring the security, scalability, and availability of our Azure infrastructure. This is an urgent, short-term contract position starting ASAP through June 30th.

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Infrastructure Security : Implement and maintain security controls for Azure IaaS deployments, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.

DevOps Implementation : Work with development teams to set up and manage CI / CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps for secure deployment and configuration.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform to automate the deployment and scaling of resources securely.

Azure Active Directory Management : Configure, manage, and secure Azure Active Directory (AAD) and its integration with other systems.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response : Ensure continuous security monitoring of Azure workloads and respond to security incidents or alerts.

Azure Security Best Practices : Advise and implement security best practices, including network security, identity protection, and data encryption.

Python on Azure : Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate security tasks, audits, and monitoring on Azure platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure IaaS components such as VMs, virtual networks, storage accounts, etc.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps , including building and managing CI / CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like ARM templates or Terraform .

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD) and its security management features.

Solid understanding of Azure Security services, including Azure Security Center , Azure Sentinel , and Azure Key Vault .

Proficiency in Python scripting and its integration with Azure services for automation and monitoring.

Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills in Azure environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent.

Experience with security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS) in an Azure environment.

Additional Information :

Immediate start required.

Contract duration until June 30th .
