2026 Summer Internship | Finance And Accounting Intern

School Year : Juniors or Seniors

Dates of the Internship : June 1st-August 7th (10 weeks)

Format : Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois (Camping World's hybrid work model allows employees to work in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the option to work from home on Thursday and Friday)

Camping World is looking for an intern for the summer of 2026 to work closely with the Finance and Accounting departments. As an intern, you will assist with the daily operations and gain a first-hand experience in the department. We are looking for someone who is driven, has experience in Finance and / or Accounting and who wants to be immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn, have a strong interest in finance and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. This role is a full-time, paid, ten-week internship that will offer a great opportunity to work alongside professionals in your desired field. Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2026.

What You'll Do :

• Prepare financial reports, including reconciliations and analysis of account activity on a monthly basis
• Support month-end close procedures
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting files and documentation
• Provide support for accounting projects and financial system implementations
• Provide support to internal and external auditors as needed
• Assist with financial modeling, statistical analysis and other special projects
• Provide field support and communicate with business partners concerning forecast inputs
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Create and document processes and procedures
• Accounting research
