Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS certification (AHA) required

NRP certification preferred

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and complete the full 13-week travel assignment

Strong communication and teamwork skills for clinical support

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery

Monitor patient status, fetal heart tones, and vital signs in a clinical setting

Assist physicians and midwives throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care

Maintain accurate and timely healthcare documentation

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
