Hospitalist Opportunity Jones Memorial Hospital

Wellsville, New York 7 On / 7 Off 1-Year Contract

Jones Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join its collaborative care team in Wellsville, NY. This opportunity offers a structured week on / week off schedule with 24-hour shifts , strong APP support, and a welcoming community hospital environment.

Position Details

Schedule : 24-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off

Contract : 1-year commitment required

Start Date : As soon as available

Day Coverage (7a 7p) : Hospitalist onsite with 12-hour APP support

Night Coverage (7p 7a) : APP remains on-site while Hospitalist is on call (must be within 20 minutes of hospital)

Admissions : 2 4 during the day; 1 3 overnight handled by APP

Call Volume : Not 100% predictable; APP manages majority of overnight activity

Patient Load : patients shared between Hospitalist and APP

ICU : 6-bed ICU with Pulmonologist on staff

Procedures : Not required, but helpful

EMR : Epic

Compensation & Benefits

Rate : $2,400 $2,500 per 24-hour shift

Includes : $2,100 for day coverage + $400 overnight call stipend

Travel & Lodging : Covered

Malpractice Insurance : Provided, including full tail coverage

Requirements

Active New York State medical license

Commitment to full 7 on / 7 off schedule

Ability to manage inpatient care in a team-based model

Comfortable with overnight call coverage (off-site)
