LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Neurology MD in Springfield, Missouri, 65804!

Pay Information

$230 to $315 per hour

About The Position

Consistent Neurology Locums Assignment with No Call in Missouri

Elevate your career with a Locums opportunity in Missouri offering both a flexible schedule and the potential for a long-term contract . This interim role provides excellent work variety and premium compensation for a dedicated Neurologist . Reach out today to discuss how this assignment aligns with your professional goals.

  • No call required to maximize your time off between shifts.
  • Long-term contract potential for stability in a temporary role.
  • Credentialing support is provided, with a temp license option available.
  • Travel and lodging accommodations provided for your short-term commitment.

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient setting focused on Adult patient ages.
  • High-level support staff including 9 RNs and 5 APPs.
  • Volume averages 10 consults and 10 stroke activations per 24 hours (shared with APPs).

    • Schedule

  • Ongoing need for a 6+ month assignment .
  • Flexible schedule with shift types including 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 7a-1p.
  • Block scheduling is a possibility; choose dates that work with your schedule.
  • PRN coverage potential to pick up shifts when it fits your schedule.

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Admit patients for stroke with TNK or mechanical thrombectomy.
  • Read transcranial dopplers for the comprehensive center.
  • All other admits are managed by Hospitalist / Intensivist under Neurohospitalist direction.
  • Potential virtual set up for some duties.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Neurology .
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience .

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing timeframe is 90 days; temps available to start sooner.
  • Must hold an active Missouri license or an active IMLC Letter of Qualification.

    • Travel accommodations

  • All travel and lodging provided for the duration of the assignment .
  • Malpractice insurance included for your protection.
