About The Position

Position : OB / GYN Locum Tenens

Location : Iowa

Pay Rate : $240 / hour (malpractice included)

Schedule :

24-hour in-house hospital coverage

6–8 shifts per month

Hospital-based only (no clinic)

Responsibilities :

Manage labor & delivery floor, perform deliveries and C-sections

Handle emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations

Average 10–15 triages per day plus deliveries

All OB triages are seen by the on-call physician

Details : EMR : Cerner

Travel & lodging reimbursed (within facility guidelines)

Orientation and malpractice covered

Holiday and overtime pay available

Requirements :

Board Certified OB / GYN – Required

Active Iowa License or IMLC LOQ – Required

Prior inpatient experience – Required

Clean malpractice / background preferred
