We Patient oriented vein center seeking mature minded, highly organized, and hard working positive Individual to function as an assistant to physician and coworkers, medical liaison for patients, cross cover with patient coordinator to answer phones, schedule patients, photograph patients (will train), assist with insurance submissions and authorizations, and educate patients on venous insufficiency and its ramifications.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Metairie, LA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with medical procedures, preparing patients for treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a medical office setting. Additional responsibilities include supporting patient care and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
• Experience in Medical Office operations and maintaining Medical Records.
• Strong background in Patient Care, including direct patient interaction and support.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with a healthcare team and maintain a professional demeanor.
