Description
We are currently seeking a hands‑on technology leader to drive IT strategy and execution across the firm and its portfolio companies. This role requires a visionary who can modernize infrastructure, implement best‑in‑class solutions, and leverage emerging technologies like AI to improve efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a technology roadmap for our company and portfolio companies.
Assess current infrastructure and recommend improvements for scalability and security.
Lead initiatives in data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance (SEC‑related).
Optimize enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, AWS) and evaluate alternatives.
Drive AI adoption for automation and analytics (e.g., reporting, portfolio insights).
Collaborate with leadership to deliver concise, actionable recommendations.
Provide guidance on cloud architecture and hybrid environments.
Serve as a trusted advisor to portfolio companies on IT best practices.
Must Have – Skills & Qualifications
5–10+ years in IT leadership roles (CIO, VP of Technology, or similar)
Experience in private equity or multi‑entity environments.
Knowledge of SEC compliance and data security standards.
Track record of modernizing legacy systems.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with enterprise software (Salesforce, Microsoft 365) and security protocols.
Proven ability to implement AI‑driven solutions for business efficiency.
Excellent communication skills; ability to present complex ideas simply.
Hands‑on approach—comfortable with both strategy and execution.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $270000.00 – $345000.00 / yr.
4% 401K match
Fully paid benefits.
Tuesday Jan 2nd or closely thereafter start date.
3 weeks vacation.
Work from home the month of august.
Typically close the week between Christmas and New Years.
