Second Shift Shipper

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Second Shift Shipper for our Columbus, OH Distribution Center. Responsibilities :

• Performs the day-to-day operations of the shipping department.
• Packs and ships completed sales orders by using the correct number of boxes and stuffing not to exceed the 40 lb. weight standard set up by the shipping manager.
• Maintains the quality of the product by looking for damaged bags or boxes.
• Helps ship Freight orders and other special orders including Heavy Duty shipments and end of day for Next Day Air shipments, including Hazardous Material.
• Performs daily maintenance to sales orders to assure the correct quantity goes out including incompletes.
