As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and special tests in accordance with company policy and local / state / federal regulations.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
- Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care provided.
- Applying sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Graduating from an accredited professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Holding a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtaining and maintaining certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Having a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Possessing excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrating knowledge of quality improvement concepts and problem-solving techniques to enhance departmental and patient care quality.
